Shield Introducer Programme
The Shield Introducer Programme gives professional contacts a clear route to introduce individuals, families and businesses that may need private medical insurance. Shield handles the regulated discussion, recommendation and application process.
Eligible introducers can receive 20% of Shield's share of the initial commission of the first years’ premium when an introduction results in qualifying new WPA business, subject to the appropriate agreement and WPA requirements.

How Introducer Payments Are Calculated
Shield pays eligible introducers 20% of Shield's share of the initial commission when an introduced applicant becomes a new WPA customer. This is not 20% of the customer's premium or WPA's total commission.
No introducer payment is made at renewal or for additional members later added to an existing policy. Contact us to discuss the appropriate agreement, regulatory checks and WPA requirements.
